We're a small, independent studio making focused apps worth paying for. First up: Take a Joke, the family party game with bite where everyone plays from their phone — and your real name ends up in the punchlines.
Our philosophy
The app economy is broken. Great ideas are buried under inflated prices and software that does too much of everything except what you actually need. AppRevolt is a small, independent shop building focused apps and games for real people — worth paying for because they earn it.
Now available
The family party game with bite, where your name ends up in the punchlines. A prompt appears on the TV, everyone submits their funniest answer from their phone, and cards are revealed one by one for the whole group to react to. No account needed — just scan a QR code and join.
Absurd images, embarrassing scenarios, character zingers, and the occasional potty gag — Diary of a Wimpy Kid territory. No swearing, no sex, no adult content. Silly enough for kids 9 and up, weird enough that grandma laughs in spite of herself.
Classic cards or write-your-own answers. Judge picks the winner, or everyone votes. Mix any combination.
Player nicknames appear inside prompts and answers. The jokes are about your group too, not just fictional characters.
